Amazing for the price.

Let's start with the cons as they are few and to be expected for the price. Plastic and assembly are not up to par. It probably won't survive a fall onto cement. The part that attaches to the posts is nice because it's a handle, but not strong enough for heavy/big mods, but the only mods that don't work cost more than the light ones, so that's to be expected. It also has an audio fan, but as long as you keep the mics off of it, you'll be fine. Everything is excellent in terms of performance, battery consumption and light quality. I haven't tested the CRI with a meter, but the color looks great next to my Apurture bulbs too. The compact size with batteries is unbeatable. I used this flashlight for photography and am very happy with its flexibility. Color, power, spread, modifier control and reliability for 6 hours of recording time can't be beat for the price. The fact that I can put batteries in and fully illuminate my garden is amazing. If you're learning to light up on a budget or need an extra light that runs on cheap batteries, this is a great option. I'll update from this for the next shoots I have planned.

Pros
  • Efficient heat dissipation
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
