The 660 RGB LED Kit includes everything you need to get started right away

I'm specifically looking at the Neewer RGB LED 660 Pro Video & Photo Lighting Kit (complete). This is a dual 50W RGB LED panel with wireless (via app) or manual control (kit) designed for the professional filmmaker, photographer, content creator, YouTuber or streamer. lamps (lamps). I already have skylight so I just needed some extra side light. When looking for a kit. RGB wasn't required but definitely a plus. The 660 kit seems to be Neewer's flagship lighting kit (I did a price search and it came up top). It comes with 2 RGB LED panels, 2 diffusers, 2 stands and 4 batteries. 2x (wall mounted) power supplies, 4 chargers and protective carrying case. You can see the case in my banana photo for scale. The protective case turned out to be much smaller than I expected. I like the thin and compact body. Everything is very well packed and delivered in the case. My package arrived completely broken from the courier, I was worried the bulbs were broken but the inner packaging and protective cover saved the panels. With the 660 kit you have everything you need to get started with film/photo lighting straight away. The 4 separate chargers are identical to the Sony NP-f550/F970 chargers and the same goes for the batteries. Sony NP-F550/F970 batteries are widely known to be very reliable. I have a set of 10 Sony F970 batteries and have been using them extensively around the world in harsh climates for over 13 years and they still retain 95% of their original charge. I believe these batteries will last for several years before showing significant signs of wear. Each charger comes with a 5ft cord. The batteries arrived half charged and I placed them on the charger. Since each battery had a different state of charge, it took between 3 and 5.5 hours to fully charge the batteries. The LED panel and the barn doors are made of aluminium. Barn doors are tight and won't loosen after a few turns (typical of some door hinges). On the back of the panel there is a direct power input, two battery compartments, an OLED screen for panel control, two rotary knobs for setting AB and C scene options, and a brightness and mode button for switching scenes. On both sides of the panel. Panels are attachment points. These LED panels can be easily installed in different positions. Both panels come with a diffuser. Be sure to remove the protective film from BOTH sides of the diffuser, it is almost impossible to visually tell that the protective film is on both sides. The Neewer LED panel consists of 660 (hence the product model number) 50W LEDs, 170 cold, 170 warm and 320 RGB. You can adjust the color temperature from 3200K to 5600K for warm or cool scenes. I definitely appreciate the longevity of the panels and the intuitive app that controls the lighting. The quality and price are phenomenal. Comparable studio lighting with LESS functionality and no batteries can typically cost 5-10x more than a Kit 660. The LED screen on the back of the LED panels provides easy and direct manual access to change light settings. I haven't used the panels in direct sunlight, so I can't confirm if they'll be visible in those conditions. However. If you don't like the manual setup or you have a large production and need to control multiple lights at the same time, you can download the Neewer App from the Apple or Google App Store for Android and control everything from your device. I liked the app itself. It just worked. From the beginning I had no problem adding both panels to the application and managing them within 1 minute. You can group lights in the app or control them individually. The application responds very quickly with no noticeable delay between command and response. In my review there are a few quick scenes captured on my iPhone X that show the difference a little lighting can make in a scene. The scene demonstrations are mostly satirical. In fact, you will see that the high quality LED panels will contribute to my future Revain reviews. As I use the light more I will update my review :) Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
