Review on PUMA Dress Watch Model P1023 by Crystal Collins

Don't let the manual fool you

This Puma Dress Watch is a nice sporty watch; but not what I think is elegant. The strap is made of polyurethane, which I think is definitely suitable for a casual and sporty style. Good watch, no doubt. The pink sunburst dial features a jumping cat logo in rose gold, indexes and hands. This watch is waterproof. So if you get caught in a thunderstorm, don't worry if a few raindrops fall on it. The bracelet and dial are 8 inches long and I was only able to attach them to the second hole. To me that would mean that this is more of a sports watch and that one of my teenage granddaughters would probably find more uses for it than I do. The watch comes in a box with 100 pages of instructions. Only the first few pages are in English; the rest in different languages of the world. If you try to operate them in the first part of the booklet, you will see that there are different positions when you pull the stem of the watch to set the date. I couldn't get the rod out without damaging my thumbnail. The husband came to the rescue to tell me that as I thought it only sets the time and there is no other position on the stem for other adjustments. The next page shows the digital settings: standard time, time/calendar setting, alarm, chronograph and split time. Then the next page will show you how to set up the grid strip. Well, it's not a digital watch and there's no mesh strap. So think of this as a cute pink sports watch that tells accurate time and throws away an instruction manual.
