Don't slit high enough - tall lipsticks will fall out
This is a very durable device, so if you have old-fashioned short lipsticks you'll be fine. But if you have newer ones with pins, like L'Oreal's Infallibles, or if you want to store mascara and eyeliner, they fall out. 1" tall slots on the front. The other organizer I have is only 1 in. 5/8 but it still does the job. Come back. Too bad because I didn't want more than 9 slots.
