I love henna, it's easy to use and always rinses off well. One recommendation I would give is to mix it up the night before and apply the pack to your hair the next morning to bring out the color better. The two hours stated on the pack is not long enough for the color to show and I don't like leaving the pack on my hair for more than 4-6 hours because I want to go out and enjoy the weekend. I also use any leftover or expired spices like pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, or cloves to add a nice flavor. A tablespoon is usually enough, and I always have some leftover pumpkin pie spice tucked away in my cupboards from the holidays, so using them rather than throwing them away is a bonus. And I don't know if it's a coincidence, but whenever I use carnation in a blend, I get a very beautiful and deep burgundy color.
