This smart valve stem system allows you to quickly check and top up residual sealant. I like these valve stems in general, but there are a couple of compromises I'm not sure I'm happy with: The plastic pin in the valve stem, which is supposed to open the rubber valves to let air out of the tire (when you press on that valve) doesn't stay very secure and sometimes falls off when you pull out the valve stem - I've had trouble with some floor pumps. If the sealant seals the vanes, they will not open even at pump pressures over 160psi. The trick is to let some air out of the tire before inflating it. My Lezyne Micro digital floor pump didn't show an accurate pressure at all due to the way the flappers in those valves close when you're not pumping. I ended up going back to tubeless valving for now (although checking the remaining sealant is a hassle) but I'd like to see the concept evolve and fix some small issues.
