Review on Deco Gear DGVM27AB Curved Monitor with 2560x1440 Resolution, HDR, Adjustable Height by Vijay Subramanian

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best price 144Hz at the time of purchase

Pretty good monitor and best value for money right now for a high 1440p refresh rate unless you're willing to venture into the dark depths of the used market. Pros: Great contrast with deep blacks and barely noticeable backlighting outside of a blank black screen. zero dead or stuck pixels on my device. The fast response time made the slow-motion comparison with my 32-inch high-refresh rate LG and it was 12 frames faster or slower in my tests - fairly even color reproduction with good depth and no noticeable banding or clipping once you hit it more, which is a bit surprising good stand with good adjustment Minus default settings were terrible at first, I was sure I made a terrible mistake when buying everything was blurry and greenish, but after about an hour of calibration I figured it out and was very satisfied - that is NOT correct HDR, seems to be 250300 nits at most, do yourself a favor and turn HDR off, turning it on will only make your games and Netflix look significantly worse if HDR is a must, you For Air, high-end monitor or mid-range TV you have to spend a few hundred euros more - and of course the ubiquitous flu ch of the VA panel, albeit motion blur It's far from the worst I've seen and it's easy to forget once you get going, it's still there and I feel like it's overdrive compared to my admittedly much more expensive LG, could have been implemented a little better. Overall I am satisfied with this kit. and while it remains the cheapest option, I definitely recommend it.
