Okay I have such mixed feelings about this bag so let's start with the likes. It keeps getting highlighted! I have diabetes, asthma, neuropathy and arthritis which requires me to carry a lot of medication, I also leave the house weekly and I need a bag, not necessarily for clothes but to make sure I have everything I need for treatment. with a few tools like a flashlight, knives, a small set of rattles, winter gloves, a radio and a few other items, and the Gearonic 17-inch messenger bag handles it all and leaves room for spares. I have received several compliments from both men and women who have asked me where they can find a bag for sale. The material is quite durable, I caught my cat sharpening her claws on it and I'm happy to report that the bag has no flaws and when I wheeled it away with a water bottle nothing was wet become. Now for the minuses and there are only two of them but they pissed me off a lot. First, there is the color choice. I first bought a 14 inch khaki bag and fell in love with the look so much that three months later, realizing it wasn't big enough, I went back to buy the same bag in a larger size. I have noticed that the 17 inch bag does not come in the same colors as the 14 inch bag, the colors are nowhere near! Now I'm not sure who made that decision but WOW what a brain fart! If I wanted a 17 inch bag I had to choose from colors I didn't really like, I ended up with coffee and I don't hate it but I definitely don't love it as much as khaki. . The second minus is that the stitching on one of the leather buckles came undone, I lost the clasp and I can't close the bag. Let me recap I really don't think you can find a comparable bag for the money as long as you can find the size and color you like. I sincerely believe you will love your purchase. Just keep an eye on the seam. Hope this helps someone!
