Gel polish can dissipate quickly but you will need multiple coats depending on the thickness of your gel. It took several coats to remove the builder gel. It's hard to explain but it also makes my nails stiff and my nails start to curl as the gel dissolves. Kind of an uncomfortable feeling, but it does its job, so I don't get mad about it.
