Review on πŸ› OTHWAY Non-Slip Bathtub Mat: Soft Rubber Blue Bathmat with Strong Suction Cups - Safe & Slip-Resistant Solution for Bathroom by Tom Podolski

Works on a slightly textured tub!

I did a LOT of research on bath mats before purchasing. We have a slightly textured tub that I was having a hard time finding a bathtub mat that would stick on it and stay stuck when tub filled with water. (Other ones only worked when showering but not bathing.) This one actually stayed down when I gave my baby girl a bath! It's not super padded as I'd hoped to have in a bath mat, but I don't think any are. All the same, she didn't complain or seem to mind at all. She is 15 months old and just transitioned into the full size tub vs. a baby tub that sits inside the tub. What I did to get it to stick really well was only to clean it with a clorox non-bleach spray and a scrub brush. The instructions said to have a clean surface and to wet the suction cups slightly. Well since I'd just cleaned the tub and rinsed it, I didn't feel like waiting for it to dry or drying it manually just to wet the suction cups. lol so I just left the suction cups dry and put it down on the damp tub bottom. I manually pressed each suction cup - BRACE YOURSELF - my fingers were sore as they aren't that strong I guess, because I pushed hard on each to make sure they'd stick. On some, I even re-pushed them a second time if they looked a little less suctioned after pushing the others down. Anyways, hope this works for you as it does for me!
