The description says cotton webbing, I thought nylon was just describing the buckle but what I got has nylon webbing. Okay for me, this should take forever. Simple, as long as stated - the slanting cut makes the last few inches of tapering, it measures 56 inches before this taper begins. It's very long for me but I haven't tried to cut it yet, I doubt it will be easy. The buckle looks solid, the latch snaps securely into place and holds tight. I am very happy with it.
