Bought to try to keep our semi-feral cat who sleeps in our garage from jumping on our trucks at night to sleep. They were a bit flexible when I took them out of the box, but the tips are really sharp and I even cut my fingers trying to pull them apart. That didn't stop the cat, it jumped through the carpet onto the truck anyway. She stepped on one and I could tell she was hurting her feet and I didn't want to injure myself further by dressing and undressing her twice a day or the cat. I'm just trying to keep her, not hurt her. Wouldn't recommend it. Returned.
