I have over 300 songs on a USB stick that plugs in. The MP3 player's output is sent to the whole house transmitter, making music available for any FM radio within range. I have a similar USB stick that I listen to in the car. I have subscribed to this free satellite radio service for several years now. No longer. Like everything else, costs kept rising. The channel I was listening to was crammed full of songs that didn't belong to him and other songs that were appropriate but didn't matter to me, so it's a real pleasure just hearing what I like. Saving that much money is no problem for me either. Ignore the reviews that say the sound is tinny. Set the MP3 player volume to 15 or less. Then turn up the volume on your stereo or radio and the sound will be pretty good. Some mostly minor flaws: The instructions are a joke. They are printed on a 4" x 5½" piece of paper that you can read with a microscope. Fortunately, you don't need them for basic operations. Otherwise good luck. If you're using a USB drive, make sure all your songs are in MP3 format. If any of them don't match, it's considered the end of the file and you'll never hear what follows. This is the kind of information that would be nice to see in the guide. The remote control must be within a foot or two before it will work. Sometimes manufacturers give you an El cheap battery. Maybe that's all. All LCD displays are the elapsed time of the current song. It would be nice if there was a title and an artist instead. The power supply should only be plugged in and should not force you to place another order. The cable is only one meter long, which limits the space for your MP3 player.
