Awesome concept. TERRIBLE performance. Ease of Use - The product description states that the stand is durable. I can't help but agree. The hesitation was the least I felt when it came to leaving my laptop unattended - it slipped/slid off the stand when I was using it, why not while I was away. Depending on the angle used, the weight of the laptop could also cause the stand to tip over OR increase the stand's instability up to and including significant shaking while typing. Surprise, but this caused me a motion sickness symptom). I have a late model HP Envy x360. Relatively thin, light notebook. Quality - plastic, plastic, plastic. Did I mention plastic? However, poor quality plastic. Also, the numerals on the radial dial were either very difficult to read or even indistinguishable. As others have pointed out, even with the leg joints set in the same position (according to the numbers on the dial), the stand's "shelf" still seemed off-center. I don't know if this was the case with the others either, but given the condition of the product (marks/scratches) and the damaged packaging, I was wondering if this was a previously returned item. I understand that $50 might be a good deal for some, but not enough to jeopardize my $900 laptop.
