You can carefully trim the rib on the side of the connector - be careful not to cut the wire - you can buy a much better quality Molex connector on eBay for a few bucks that doesn't have the ribs. Test your connector with a multimeter if you really want to be on the safe side. Once I cut the edge of the plastic this thing works like a dream. Buy two.
