Have you ever taken something home for a friend or your kids but never seen Tupperware come back? This solves this problem. It's the same thing that takeout restaurants use, and it works great even if you just pop it in the fridge, wash it, and use it again. Then, if any of the lids or containers become discolored due to highly acidic or fatty foods such as sauces and curries, simply throw them away. And if your kids never get them back, no problem. They are cheap and functional and make good prep containers. My only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner. Unless you buy glass containers, which aren't the most portable, all other plastic containers have a limited lifespan and will inevitably disappear. So why not buy cheaper versions that work just as well? Those are tickets.
