I love this curling iron! I read so many reviews and was so torn on what size to order for my hair, tapered or not. decisions decisions! I originally ordered a 1.25" curling iron and it worked well, but as my hair was shoulder length I had trouble getting the ends of my hair around the shaft without burning my ankles! Although some friends talked about the tapered barrel and that they didn't like it too much, I returned the 1.25" and tried this one instead. Shorter hair is much easier to work and frizzes easily. My curls lasted all day without Sprays. I have somewhat thick naturally wavy hair that curls never held long when I used a curling iron. Using a curling iron also gives the impression that you have a huge curl in your hair. The curls kind of stick together. This straightener conjures up beautiful curls. Highly recommended!
