I use several gauges of wire in my RC hobby so I compared this wire to some of the silicon insulated wires I have. You can see in the picture that it is slightly smaller than the 20 AWG red wire and slightly smaller than the 18 AWG black wire. That being said, I love this cable and will use it when I don't need 18 AWG bandwidth. Its PVC coating is stiffer and more cut resistant than silicone wire and is preferred when wire flexibility is not important. I like that it's twin cord as it looks neater over long distances. I also like that it's canned. I've thrown away quite a bit of pure copper wire over the years because it was corroded and too difficult to clean. Good wire if you need 20 AWG.
