Just got my bag so haven't tested it yet but wanted to check it out because of the interesting design. Unlike some people, I find the bag to be exactly the size I expected. Mine looks great with quality materials and I love the fabric design. It is worth mentioning the limitation that the zipper imposes on this bag. I was kind of expecting this as the picture shows if you look closely and think about how it would work. The bag is big, but the zipper is only 13 inches long; When you open the hole to put something in, you have a workable hole that is only 11-12 inches long. When wide open, it has an opening of approximately 8 inches in diameter. So if you're stuffing soft things in, that's fine, but if it's a hard object like a book, your size is limited. Due to the small opening and black lining, pulling items out is a bit of a "grip and touch" process as it's much deeper than it is wide. I think the solution to using and organizing this bag would be to put small items in small zippered pockets like makeup bag, otherwise the small items would just get lost at the bottom. However, this construction offers a good deterrent for pickpockets. The bag folds up making the zip really inaccessible when carried on the shoulder. The inside also has a zip pocket and a small open pocket. And I love the shoulder straps which are long enough to slip easily over your shoulder. Also, they are a material with some texture so they don't slip off when I wear them. With all that, it's very cute and will be functional for many things, but the design has some limitations. I see myself in it to pack small bags when shopping, or maybe as an everyday bag when I want to take a light jacket or umbrella with me. One of my small purses fits in easily to keep small items organized and accessible.
