Works better as a programmer OEM
I bought the OEM ST-LINK v2 from an authorized dealer thinking it was the way to go with the least headache. As usual my calculation needs to be recalculated as I could never see it in CubeProgrammer and the only thing I could do in ST-LINK was update the firmware. On the advice of a friend, I opted for this significantly cheaper variant with better branding and a good form factor. Plugged it in, everything worked straight away in the CubeProgrammer, and I was able to read and write on my STM32 with no problems. Skip the official STM programmer, buy this fake and save your money and hassle.
