I'm a low-tech aquarist. I don't use CO2 or fancy lighting and my general attitude is to just put things in the water and let them do their thing. Before I started dosing Flourish Excel 2-3 times a week, my plants were fine in low light, but once I started I noticed (and documented!) results within a week. The plants started to grow fuller and faster, with a richer, deeper green than before. In combination with a good growing medium I believe Flourish Excel is the key to the success of my aquarium. In this series of photos [.]) I started taking Flourish Excel three times a week in early February. The results, as they say, speak for themselves.
