Already broken in one place just leaning on it with my knee. Really not impressed. I'll be back. Very, very strong smell. I've had full tatami beds in both the US and Hong Kong in the past, and it's those rugs that really stink. I'll probably have to air them out, but I don't want the bugs to get in. They are also very light. My last set was so heavy I could barely lift her. They're awfully light so I'm not sure how long they'll last, but it was a nice surprise. The price was ok. For the weight, the coloring and the decorative aspect on the side - I find the price a bit high. My Japanese ones looked very fashionable. The folding design is great so I think it's a compromise. If that's the price point you agree with, I think it could be worse. The only odd thing is that the coloring is much greener in the middle than on the edges, as if someone had already slept on it. I'm sure they're new, but that was a bit strange. See fig. There is no shadow. This is a color. My last set only looked like this after using it for a couple of years. (Apparently they usually start out green so I know)
