Definitely big. The straight cut jeans are the same size as the sweatpants I ordered, but are significantly smaller. There is no elastic drawstring at the waist to keep them from being held up and due to the extra length they gather at the bottom. We use them for skiing so they should last us this weekend but she won't be able to wear them on her own for a while. I would downsize. You are soft. A little thin but soft. Definitely worth the money if you have the right size. It would be great if there was a drawstring so they could stay on.
