cheap materials. Don't close all the way.

The metal clasp is thin and bends easily. This results in a very poor seal in addition to the cheap plastic gasket. I doubt they will last longer than 6 months. I only use them for brewing so I'll try them out and not returning. If you intend to store liquid or something that needs to be sealed, don't buy it. The good news is that they are very easy to disassemble and clean as they are very poorly made.
