Great buy for the price

Great product for the price! I homeschool my children and am always looking for ways for them to photograph what they have discovered or learned. The range isn't as great as regular walkie-talkies, but it's not that bad, and I love the fact that no other person using a walkie-talkie can easily eavesdrop on their conversation or try to startle them. I can be in my house, which is mostly concrete blocks, and my kids can be with neighbors next door, and I can mostly hear them on the walkie-talkie. I love that it comes with a lanyard to wear around the neck so they don't lose it and then it has a clip to remove it from the lanyard which is great. Only thing is the clip/ring is very cheap plastic and I don't think it will last long. If you need more range, get another set of range walkie-talkies, but if they're fairly close, this should work fine. I wish there was a call button that I could just click and it would let them know I was trying to contact them. The radio turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity which is great for the battery but then I can't communicate with them until they turn the radio back on so my kids just check every 15 minutes. The quality of the video and camera isn't the best, but for $50 it's definitely not bad! Also, they're kids, so they don't need imagination. There is a front camera, but I still haven't figured out how to work with it. It came with cute stickers, but they don't really stick, but what kid doesn't love stickers, even if they're temporary. The walkie-talkie itself is of pretty decent quality, I was actually surprised! It has games to keep the kids busy in the car or at the doctor's office. I wish the device had headphones somewhere for gaming and music, the speaker volume is actually quite subtle and loud. Overall we're happy for the price and it's a great buy!
