Review on 🌊 Waterproof Kids Digital Sport Watch for Girls and Boys - LED Outdoor Watch with Alarm, Stopwatch, and Luminous Display - Child Wristwatch for Sports Activities by Byron Forman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality, confusing directions, easy-to-press buttons

I needed a waterproof watch because every time my kids buy a watch in the store, they die the first time they wash their hands. The silicone on them is easy to keep clean and is truly waterproof. The time seems to keep well (the ones we got from the stores seem to keep changing the time, but that could be due to a handwashing issue), despite the buttons being pressed all the time. I like the watch but there are two complaints. I bought 3 for my 3, 4 and 6 year olds. It fit all and even had to buy a 4th because my 1 year old insisted on wearing it too. It suits him too. This will suit them for years to come. Of all 4, 1 had a defect. The top line of the last digit did not always appear. I received the exchange with no problems and the old one seemed fixed when I received the new one, but I still returned the old one just in case. Another complaint I have is that the buttons just keep pressing when their wrists flex. So I need to help my 6 year old to make sure he is in the correct time mode. She's the only one who actually uses them to tell the time, but all kids love watches, right? I also think a clock is the perfect way to teach numbers because once she's learned a few numbers she'll want to tell you the time every five minutes and then learn the two-digit numbers in a fun way. The directions are a bit confusing. It goes into time reading mode. Buttons go A-top left, B bottom left, C bottom right, D top right. A changes the color of the light. Hold it until it reaches the color you want, then release it and each time you press it it will light up that color. My 1 year old LOVES this feature. B changes mode. To set the time, press B three times, press D to change the flashing digit and C to move to the next digit to be changed. I think it starts with the minutes flashing, then the hours (through AM, then PM, then military time and back to AM), then set the day, then press B again to go back to normal. That's the confusing part - turning off the alarm and turning off the hourly chime. IN NORMAL MODE (You know it's normal when only one day of the week is displayed) To turn off the alarm, hold down C and then press D. If the small alarm icon is showing, it's on. If not, then disabled. Personally, I set an alarm for lights off like we're getting ready for bed, so if it goes off while my daughter is at school, it won't turn off during school or at night. To turn off the hourly chime, hold C and then press B. You must press C first or the mode shown will change. When all days of the week are displayed the Hourly Time Signal is on, when none are on it is off. I would buy this watch again. The kids love it, it seems like it will last and it is waterproof. I wish the light stayed on longer just because my 1 year old can't press it but he likes it on and I wish the view mode was harder to change. so I don't have to constantly reset it to normal mode. . However, I will say that no matter how many times this button has been accidentally pressed, I have yet to correct the actual time setting.
