We bought these shoes for my 3 year old son. They are exactly as pictured and my son loves wearing them. The only thing I didn't like about these shoes is that they are difficult to close with velcro when the shoe's tongue is positioned in the shoe as it should be. As you can see in the picture, the boot tongue opens very wide, which is great for slipping a child's foot into the boot easily. However, when you close the Velcro, the tongue pops out (see second picture) and you'll have to put it back in the shoe if that bothers you. I saved this as a 5 star rating because it doesn't bother my son and he can wear these shoes himself.
