Review on Monoprice 109171 Select Active Series HDMI 🔌 Cable - 4K @ 60Hz, 10.2Gbps, 28AWG, 40ft, Black by Vincent Blitz

This cable works wonders! I never thought I would be so excited about an HDMI cable. However, this cable works where others have failed. I bought this HDMI Matrix 4x2 Switcher from Monoprice over a year ago. This means that 4 HDMI devices can connect to not just one, but two devices independently of each other. Great concept, only it never really worked. I had the same problem as other switch boxes - always-on devices like Chromecast, Roku, etc. weren't always recognized by the switch. A year later I finally decided to try again with this HDMI cable with Redmere technology. Works great! Looking around at Revain, there aren't many Redmere cables that are this cheap, which is a nice plus. Still better than standard HDMI cables, but the thin wire is an advantage as it rivals quality thick cables that are so thick they don't bend very well. I will try to buy a longer term of these cables. I'll try to update this post once I can verify the quality from a long distance (only 10 feet currently).
