Years ago I learned (not without pain) that it's best to let my wife check the nightly thermostat settings. Unfortunately, because I sleep a little warmer than they do, I've been waking up in the middle of the night sweaty and unwell for years. Enough! It is no exaggeration to say that the Eleear Cooling Blanket has changed my life in a very positive way. (Check out my video review on this product if you're interested.) As a result, these pillowcases sold easily. After about two weeks of use I can't imagine being happier. For less than $25 my life is better again! The magic of this product lies in the shiny side (an 80/20 nylon/polyethylene blend) that is surprisingly cool to the touch. You can see (in the second photo) the contrast between this side and the warmer side (100% cotton) on the back. I'm pretty sure I'll never use the warm side on my head! When I climb into bed I lie on my side, place a thicker pillow (again, shiny side up) between my legs for back support, rest my head on this cool (flatter) pillow, and into a few minutes I'm out! pure magic. I found that after a few hours of resting my head on a pillowcase, the cooling effect wore off a bit. This is easily fixed by rotating the pillow 180 degrees and moving my head to the unused part (allowing the part where my head should cool down). When my cold head recovers, I'll return to dreamland! If you sleep on the hot side, try this product! Honestly, the fact that I've spent so little to make so much of a life change makes me feel like I got away with it - in a very good way!
