First impressions are that the sound is terrible in both modes. Having to hold them forever to turn them on is very frustrating and often doesn't work. They called me, I can't hear it in the headphones, I tried turning them off but they won't turn off. Then I kept disconnecting from my phone trying to reconnect while trying to speak. I had to turn off Bluetooth to end the call. Once charged, they no longer work. I turn it on, hold it to my ear and hear "power off". I read the instructions several times to see if I did something wrong, even looked on the internet, nothing works. I'll be back
