Start out by saying I mostly really like this hoody dress! I love the art, the idea, the different corduroy texture used for contrast in hood and pockets and yes, even the paint job which seems pretty secure if just a print. Been through the dryer right side out and seems unfazed.But I did NOT like and can't abide the paint's stink. I have washed this dress four times and will probably have to wash it four more to hope to wear, especially as I bought it to hum around the house in when sick or just hanging out at the computer. The upside of cleaning is it did not shrink and feels softer. I figured in the case where item will be a total loss if I do not experiment with washing, I have nothing to lose by seeing what will happen if I do this or that. I am very, very, very sensitive to chemical smells, so it may not be as bad for you, but ye can't say ye weren't warned if it turns out you reel from it.I ordered the 12-22 size and have a 48" bust and am just under 5 feet so it is a little long, past my knees, but fine for my purposes. I think it falls fine, not a bad shape for my kinda round shape. but if you are looking to show off your shapely bod, this is not the outfit, lol.I wanted to order these for my kids for lazing about, and though I don't think the smell bothers them as bad, I am hesitant to have to wash more of these as many times as I will think is needed.So, if the paint issue were fixed, I'd give this a five star for unique and cosy! And such a good idea! It is plenty roomy with my measurements and more-so for my daughter who is narrower. My other daughter is a size S and would probably need the smaller version.
