As this is my first experience with a wireless mouse, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the wired variety. I have only owned two mouse in the past decade, and the most recent model from A4Tech is the most affordable option that has a double-click button. The clicking sounds are getting increasingly audible (no wonder if the left button stops functioning soon). It is not suited for long periods of labor because it will eventually get irritating. - Do not buy this mouse if you require a mouse with more than two buttons (especially if you want to make frequent use of the wheel button). It is difficult to press the wheel. - Because of the friction, a distinguishable noise can be heard whenever the wheel is spun rapidly (obviously, the wheel will quickly wear out and fail.) - There is no sense of precision in the object selection process. When you click something, you almost always get the impression that the cursor is attempting to move away from the current selection or selection location. When I try to rapidly open the folder I want in Windows, I invariably make a mistake. It is tough to copy text precisely, and it is even more difficult to rename a folder. I attempted to resolve this issue on Windows by lowering the value in the mouse (pointer speed) area; nevertheless, the issue did not go away entirely despite my efforts. For instance, make an effort to swiftly move the cursor to the cross that closes the website window in the browser by using your mouse. It was impossible for me to land on the cross since the cursor either veered off to the side or went in the wrong direction. In general, this mouse is designed for a user who is not pompous and who needs to conduct work that is not difficult for a short period of time on a computer that does not have small icons.
