Bought this for use out on our desk. I was surprised to learn that the faux wood/lumber pieces that it is built from are hollow plastic, not solid as most ones you sit in are like. As such, when I sit in it, I can feel a slight flex in the slats of the seat bottom when I move. (I'm 6'3", 220 lbs.)The assembly process isn't terribly difficult, however we had to stop and re-do a couple of the nuts because they weren't aligned right inside the slots they fit into. I was nervous because the two-piece arm has snaps that hold them together which don't look like they are designed to be un-snapped, but I forced it to come back apart and we did get them reassembled without losing any of the plastic tabs so yeah, we got lucky. Overall this is a good sized chair, and it looks handsome too. I think it is priced competitively. Next spring I will have to report back on how well it holds up.
