I just received mine, Silver 13.5" and I noticed a couple of things right away. The case designed for my SURFACE BOOK is very soft and semi-rigid, which I consider the most important of all as it is designed to protect the laptop. It also has enough space where I could have a small pocket on top of my computer if I want it, there's maybe 1/4" on either side and I can put my hand on the top of the laptop in the pocket, so I guess that it fits perfectly.The padding between the laptop compartment and the bag is soft and then covered with a layer of hard smooth canvas material around the rest of the bag so I'm not worried that the end of the cable might scratch my laptop or The pockets are pretty standard and easily fit 2 HDMI/USB cables plus a charger a surface pen and a small slot for a mouse (looks like the slot will fit a Microsoft flat mouse) Overall am I'm happy with my purchase.It may not be the thinnest of totes and I probably won't put it in my backpack, preferring to carry it around, but the build quality and protection, it offers my new laptop is a simple compromise. I would be fine throwing it in a holdall or packing it in a suitcase for a business trip.
