My baby used it at the age of 1 month (size 3-6 months). We accidentally got it from my eldest daughter who never took it but was hoping my son would use it. Thank God saved. He loves being wrapped in a blanket, but here in California where it's hot it was difficult to wrap his arms and get him to lie down easily. We only use this at night so it comes with being in a bag before bed and it was a godsend. With him he sleeps 4-6 hours. My advice: don't wear pants on bulky/thick legs, they just sweat and cause a fuss. Apply any lotion to stomach and legs before wearing (in conjunction with Sleep/Sleep). The neck is a bit small, be sure to stretch the bag slightly as it tends to gather up to the neck. My son is in the 95th percentile for length and weight for a newborn and he wears a size 3-6 months but I find it to be too tight around the neck. He is only 1 week to 3 months old but I went ahead and bought the largest size, 12-18 months. It is very long but the neck is just right!
