I got these instead of the full screen case because I was having trouble getting water under the full screen case. It was easy to make, but you only have to move a little to get everything into place. I wore it for about six months and had to take it off twice to clean under the edges and clean the watch as a whole. It still fits just as well as it did on day one. It didn't stretch, I don't think so. I put a protective film underneath so the screen doesn't get scratched.
