One thing to note about this cable is that it's quite thick and stiff. So if you connect it to a small DAC, the cable might be too stiff for a 1 foot length. The plugs look and feel heavy and are of high quality. It seems very well made with great components and the price is affordable for people who aren't really thinking about buying $1000 cables. The manufacturer says you should "break in" the cable for 175 hours. Interesting, I'm not a metallurgist, but we don't break wires and cables in my electronics area, so that makes me suspicious of snake oil. How does that sound? The basses are tight and stretched, the highs shimmer and have an "airiness", and the midrange is detailed and voluminous. It's all topped off with a generous dose of pixie dust, as well as a pleasing decay with hints of pear and wet Alaskan moss. Butter it sounds like wet butter it's so smooth. Yes, it sounds good, but it can't pour me coffee. He'd lose a star for that, but then again, he doesn't have hands or thumbs. If you like thick cables connecting your components, buy this one.
