They didn't fit my daughter. She is 2 years old and usually carries 2 to 3 years. I found them to be very snug on her. I wouldn't choose size because they are too long. She's not healthy, she didn't get her mother's thick thighs, but she's so uncomfortable to wear them, she feels so restricted. I don't understand why mostly girls pants are tight. One thing I like to say is that the patterned bottom covers the part between her shoes and her feet well and keeps her warm. I really wanted to love it because it's so soft and warm. Unfortunately my daughter doesn't wear these.
