I love these balls so much I have ordered a second set. Nothing wrong with my first set, but I kept encountering an issue where my husband would dry his clothes, just toss the balls in the laundry basket along with his clothes and pick them up. If I then want to do more laundry, I have to go ball hunting. I realized that this problem could easily be solved by buying another set, which I did. As for the balls themselves, they are great. I originally heard about this from a living blogger who is in debt and I totally agree with her. I didn't use any dryer sheets at all (I never used fabric softener anyway). They are very good for softening clothes. I knew there was a difference the first batch I made because it was towels and my towels have never been so fluffy. I think my first set is about 4 months old and they still work great. I have slight concerns that this might shorten the lifespan of my clothes, but I would still prefer to go this route over drying my sheets. I air dry most of my expensive clothes anyway, so if I need to buy cheap t-shirts more often, so be it. I'm glad I'm not breathing in the excess stuff that dryer sheets pump into my air.
