My baby LOVES this blanket! He weighs about 40 pounds and we have a 5 pound blanket. I was concerned it would be too short or too heavy, but this is the perfect length and weight for it. The minky fabric is very soft and pleasant to the touch. Now he can't sleep without it. I only have two small complaints: the color is fading a bit after the first wash, and the comforter and matching pillowcase are missing the "S" in the word "Dinosaur" which is hard to understand. fail. The last photo shows both the faded and missing letter on the duvet. The pillowcase comes free with the duvet and fading is my only concern so can't complain.
