Review on Vibrant Color Changing Replacement: TOVEENEN 500Watt Incandescent Bulb by Ashley Jones

I love this lightbulb. Beginning in 2015, I was looking for color-changing LED lights for my 2007 Pebble Tec pool. At the time, aftermarket retrofit lights were in short supply, and the few that existed were either insanely expensive or very flimsy. or both. Determined to add some color to the pool, I chose a Pentair Amerbrite LED. At around $275 per bulb, they weren't cheap, but at least they were pretty bright (35W) and I was happy. Well fast forward 4 years and I had to replace one of the lightbulbs after water got into the case (my fault), one just stopped working with no leak and another after the red color died (including all the combinations the red color used color). All in all I had about $1500 for these LEDs, which were "normal" but definitely not worth the price and had a sketchy short lifespan. So I went in search of newer lamps that might be a suitable replacement. I was very interested in the Pureline LED series bulbs from the popular online pool shop, but then I stumbled across this bulb which turned out to be exactly the same. At least visually it is identical. and about $50 cheaper for a lightbulb, I decided to give it a try. I currently have a Toveenen bulb in the deep end and two still working Pentair Amerbrite bulbs in the shallow end. I am pleasantly surprised by the light output of the new lamp. It's definitely wider and as if not brighter than the Amerbrites, which was one of my problems. It's hard to tell from the digital pictures as they do weird things with LED bulbs, but the bulb lights up a large area really well (the deep end is 9ft). It also goes well with Amerbrites in color just in case you're slowly changing lightbulbs when others die like me. the week. I would turn it on for a few hours every night, flipping through all the colors and slideshows. no problems and everything works great. Cautiously optimistic that I've found a great flashlight at a reasonable price that will last for several seasons. I'll update if I run into issues, but at least seeing the manufacturers' responses to people who had issues in the reviews boosts my confidence. I look forward to buying a few more to replace other light bulbs in the coming months!
