Great polish: household chemicals

I use this to polish my husband's wedding ring. His bracelet is white gold, so quite worn and dirty. I clean his ring with this tool about once a month. I used to have a jar of this product but I think it has gone bad from being stored for so long (the product looked like it had fallen off and there was a lot of liquid on top of the jar). I actually prefer having this in a whistle because it's easier to use and less messy. You don't need much of it to do one round of cleaning, so it should take a while!
