I have been using this model for about 8 years, this is the third purchase. The previous similar mouse (pictured) worked for about 5 years, the cursor began to move unstably. In general, the previous M705 had big problems with the cursor all the time - it only worked on hard dark surfaces: a wenge-colored table, a black hard plastic surface. On cloth rugs and white surfaces, it never worked properly. But this new mouse works everywhere: I tried a sheet of paper, a white wooden surface, and it seems even on a cloth. I use the second week on a hard black polycarbonate mat (Glorious Helious) - so far so good. The old mouse held the battery charge for a very long time, probably up to six months, I hope it hasn't gotten worse in this regard.
