I just assembled this bread bin and I want to say you get what you paid for. And it wasn't worth it. That's why. When I touched the wood I initially found that it was of poor quality and not durable as expected, but it's a bread box that you put groceries in so I expected it to at least be varnished but no. and fragments everywhere. So I had to iron it out before I hurt myself or anyone who might use it. Second, right at step 1 I noticed that one of the screws didn't fit, and after measuring the screw holes I found that they didn't even fit. Insert these holes correctly. As you can see in my photos. One screw even came out of the wood because the holes were misaligned and yes I tried putting the screw straight in but it didn't work. Because the holes don't line up. Third, my crate was crooked due to the incorrectly drilled holes, making it very difficult for me to complete the assembly. Because I had to force the parts straight while screwing the rest in. So if you don't want to take the challenge and end up with shards in your bread, I say look for a better bread bin.
