I never travel without one. more.

Great! I bought this set as a gift for traveling friends after buying my own set for trips abroad. I like the fact that you get two. I have one at home and pack one in our luggage for the trip. We also let other friends borrow us. The most enjoyable part of this purchase took place at an airport in Europe when my wife and I watched other people unpack and redistribute luggage at the check-in counter to try and accept their bags. It took away a lot of anxiety and gave me confidence that all is well with your bags. We recently traveled abroad to fill up the luggage of friends who went abroad, so we traveled with the maximum capacity in all allowed bags - checked and carry-on. The presence of these scales allowed us to balance the load. The weight of some items can be very deceptive, and this scale has allowed us to weigh more items than required for item weight and "filling". Three recommendations: 1) Do not pack your suitcase to the weight limit. Our goal was to be at least a pound (0.5 kg) lighter for each bag. Believe it or not, the humidity on your travel day can affect the weight of your luggage (or the scale at the airport check-in counter that isn't properly calibrated). 2) When I packed the scale, I put a small piece of paper in the battery compartment between the battery and the contact to prevent it from accidentally turning on in your luggage. 3) Keep the scale in carry-on baggage, not checked baggage, so that it is available at all times and up to the check-in counter.
