I need to use more product than the instructions say
My hair is about three inches below my shoulders. I had to use 1/3 of a glass to completely cover everything from roots to ends (I have medium, fine hair). Lovely price. I only use three products from one jar so I can't say if it really does anything to tone the blonde.
