It's very noisy. The only thing I would say is actually silent is 2 of the 4 buttons, which also don't have a clicky feel. The gears are listed as silent and they definitely aren't. The joystick is listed as silent and it's also very clacky. The disc that spins doesn't really make noise when it spins but it does click when you press it. I think it's fine working by myself at home or muted on a zoom call but I wouldn't want to use this in an office or classroom, you would be very annoying to your classmates/coworkers. I think I would love almost everything on in if it weren't so noisy.
