Review on ๐Ÿฅค 20 oz. Contigo Matterhorn Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle by Bailey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for keeping drinks ice cold

I was looking for a double wall water bottle to keep my iced drink ice cold all day and settled on this one (Contigo Matterhorn bottle. Stainless steel with Monaco accent) due to their highs rating ratings. Another requirement of mine was that it should hold over 16 fl oz, but not around 32 oz (too heavy). I was not disappointed. This bottle is advertised as being able to keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours. It kept my drink ice cold for over 24 hours! First I filled this bottle with ice and then poured cold water to the top. I then capped the bottle and kept it on my kitchen counter at room temperature. After 21 hours the water turned icy with some ice. After 32 hours the water was still freezing but there was no ice left. The upside is that this bottle doesn't sweat - there's no condensation on the outside of the bottle, which means anything that comes in contact with it (the items in your bag) gets wet. I like that the outside is regular stainless steel - there is no paint coating on the outside to scratch/peel off after a while. However, be careful who you buy it from. This was my second purchase (from Revain as a seller) and I had no issues with the purchase. My first purchase was from Me2You Online and I had to return it (inconvenient, time consuming to return and buy again). The first purchase was the most uncomfortable. The bottle sent in was green with scratches (the main reason you can't get a color coated stainless steel bottle). The seller put their own sticker/barcode on top of the original product's UPC barcode (the original sticker also contains the product's name/color). An additional sticker from the manufacturer labeled the bottle as "stainless steel with a Monaco accent", although this was clearly not the case. Honestly a mistake? I doubt. Green isn't even one of the colors currently available for this Contigo water bottle. It seems to me that this was very old, damaged (scratched) stock that the seller wanted to get rid of. They covered the original product label to give customers their old product.
