The queen size comforter measures 60" x 80" and is exactly the same size as a queen size mattress which means it will does not hang over the edges at all. If there are 2 people in the bed, there are not enough blankets to cover both of them. I should have read the measurements more carefully otherwise I would not have bought this duvet and would be sending it back. Aside from that breach of contract, I like it. Just think of the dimensions to make sure it's exactly what you expect. The king size duvet is too big for the queen size mattress and hangs too much on the sides and bottom. For example when I wake up in the morning it shows it moving all over the bed. A regular blanket tends to stay in place, but these weighted blankets tend to follow the person. From what I've learned, each person who sleeps in bed should probably have their own custom weighted blanket. I love this blanket and for now I am planning to keep it and buy another one for my wife. She likes it too.
