I really thought they could shake my world. While they are good, I can't help but feel that they could be better. I wouldn't say they're great, just good. The first thing you see when you open the box is the headphone case and wow the case is amazing! It has indicator lights to let you know the earbuds charging status. The different light patterns are explained in the enclosed instructions. The first thing I noticed when I took them out and connected them to my phone, the Razer Phone 2, was that they paired quickly! High marks punk buds here. Very easy to pair. The light of these headphones is very nice, they look great! The second thing I noticed was that they didn't fit when I put them in my ears. This is not a problem as Punkbuds offers about 4 sizes of tips to fit your ear. I found a matching set of ends and it was fixed! Now the next problem with them is that for some reason, while they're very comfortable, they just don't sit right in my ears. I checked the instructions and wore it as it says. So I don't really know what it's all about. 3. I wanted to try out their functionality, so I downloaded my playlist and went for a little jog. Great news, they stayed in my ear with no problem! I was jogging, jogging, jumping, everything was good, you could train until your heart was full, so top marks. . The price tag here is complex. Their headphones are dangerously close to $99, which basically sounds better than these punk buds, and their headphones are a little over $59, making it difficult to say they don't work as well as more expensive headphones and if they're better in my opinion as headphones for $59 it's very marginal. So what justifies the $79 price tag? I would say an act can be done for an act, no pun intended. Chances are you can't get this case for a lower price, it's a very good case. It also has some cool features. The light is great, you can use it to talk to Siri, honestly the options are here, the sound is close but a bit blurry in my opinion. This case is amazing. You charge it up and then put your punk buds in for wireless charging because it can be moved after charging and will wirelessly charge your punk buds multiple times depending on how low your battery is. This is a very nice addition from Punkbuds, I really like this feature. They sound pretty good at flat levels, but Punkbuds tweaked them. If you match them with an equalizer, I don't think they work as expected. I've tried them on many different settings and to be honest, right out of the box they were the best. I've tried them in many settings and different styles of music and to be honest if you want to tweak the sound I'd look elsewhere. There is a division between low, medium and high, but it's a bit confusing. Lows are ok, won't shake your socks off, mids are the best area for punk buds, they shine here for me. The highs are ok but get harsh when you try to get high, making the sound a bit metallic. The volume will not be as high as I would like, when I tried using boost in several different equalizer apps they all made the sound static as they are not supposed to like much boost. To be honest I liked the stock sound the best so again I didn't give them 5 stars as they are ok but not very good in my opinion. The sound shines for me with no EQ adjustments at around three quarters of maximum volume, which was the best power range I found them to have. Also keep in mind that true wireless headphones like these don't have as good sound quality as over-ear headphones, this is a comfort trade-off for those who want a smaller form factor. These are great comfortable in ear headphones, they are wireless and have good sound. I would recommend them, I wish the price was closer to the $59 headphone segment, but I understand all the features and options are here for the higher price. I just think that the audio version of these drivers makes them a little more comfortable settings in this price range are guaranteed. I've tried them with all kinds of music and EQ settings, streamed videos with them and worked out with them. They performed well in all areas except for the EQ settings. If you want to tweak the sound you might need some experience in this area as it was really difficult to get into one of my favorite settings with them. If you're looking for a pair of earbuds that won't fall out while you're active, with good sound quality and a very cool feature set and options, then I would recommend these Punkbuds. These headphones will please many users.
